About Us

Société Anhui-Congo d'Investissement Minier SARL (SACIM SARL), established in September 2013,is a 50:50joint venture between SOCIETE DE GENIE CIVIL ET DE COMMERCE DE ANHUI – CHINE SARL (SOGECOA SARL) and the Government of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The company is registered in Kasai Oriental Province, DRC.
Its core asset is the Tshibwe kimberlite pipe primary diamond deposit, a key industrial cooperation project under China-Africa capacity collaboration and a leading industrial diamond development enterprise strongly supported by the DRC government.

The parent company, SOCIETE DE GENIE CIVIL ET DE COMMERCE DE ANHUI – CHINE SARL (SOGECOA SARL), has extensive experience in African mining development. Its investment in the Anjin mining area in Zimbabwe led to the construction of seven modern processing lines within less than two years, forming a complete industrial system, which was praised by Kimberley Process inspectors as: “first-class scale, first-class facilities, first-class speed, first-class team, and first-class management.”
